The Entrepreneurship Cell of IGDTUW proudly hosted the Bitcoin India Tour, a nationwide movement led by SwapSo — an IIT Bombay–backed startup supported by SINE IIT Bombay, Microsoft for Startups, and Startup India.

This hands-on session introduced students to the fundamentals of Bitcoin and real-world blockchain applications, while highlighting emerging opportunities in FinTech, Web3, and open-source technology.

Participants engaged directly with innovators and startup mentors, gaining insights into the evolving world of decentralized finance. The session concluded with certificates and participation goodies for attendees.

Founders Walk

E-Cell IGDTUW proudly hosted the immensely successful Founder’s Walk ✨ — an extraordinary gathering that brought together the energy, ambition, and wisdom of some of the most dynamic startup leaders in the ecosystem.

With great enthusiasm and pride, we welcomed 30 extraordinary founders of startups, each of whom shared their awe-inspiring entrepreneurial journeys with our students. 🚀 From the spark of an idea to the hurdles of execution, they spoke about perseverance, innovation, and the courage it took to build something impactful.

To make the occasion even more special, we had the distinct honor of receiving a distinguished chief guest, whose presence elevated the event and inspired the audience with valuable insights on leadership and entrepreneurship. 💡

The Founder’s Walk was more than just an event — it became a celebration of ideas, resilience, and community. Students engaged directly with the founders, asked questions, and learned from real-world experiences that no textbook could have captured. 🌟

The Case Conqueror

Event Overview

The Case Conqueror, hosted by E-Cell IGDTUW and powered by Unstop, was not just another case study competition—it turned into a battlefield of wits, strategy, and innovation. With 350+ participants from multiple colleges and disciplines, the event challenged undergraduate students to take on real-world business problems and craft bold, game-changing solutions. Participants competed against some of the sharpest minds, tested their analytical genius, and proved their ability to think like top strategists.

The judging focused on clarity of problem understanding, creativity of ideas, practicality and scalability of solutions, logical presentation, and analytical depth. This ensured that the most well-rounded and impactful solutions stood out.

Event Format

• Team Size: 2–4 members per team (unchangeable after registration)
• Round 1 (Online): A real-world case study was released, and teams submitted their solutions in a 7-slide PPT (including title slide).
• Round 2 (Online): Shortlisted teams prepared a 2-slide deck and a 3-minute video presentation based on their solutions.

Rewards & Prizes

• Winner: Team Bulbasaur – ₹5,000 + Certificate
• First Runner-Up: Team Vyapari – ₹3,000 + Certificate
• Second Runner-Up: Team Case Crusaders – ₹2,000 + Certificate
• All Participants: Certificates of participation

E-Cell x Drishti IAS

E-Cell x Drishti IAS: From Engineering Dreams to Cracking Civil Services

On 17th February 2025, E-Cell in collaboration with Drishti IAS hosted an engaging and insightful speaker session in the college auditorium, with a turnout of over 200 enthusiastic participants.

The session was led by Mr. Prashant Sharma, a renowned educator with 20+ years of experience, recipient of three national awards, and mentor to thousands of aspirants. Known for his expertise in training and soft skills, Mr. Sharma shared invaluable insights on:

• UPSC Preparation: Practical strategies and the roadmap to cracking Civil Services.
• Balancing College with Aspirations: Managing academics while preparing for competitive exams.
• Soft Skills Enhancement: Building confidence, communication, and personality for success.

The event not only inspired students to aim higher but also equipped them with a blueprint for success—whether in Civil Services or other professional pursuits. It was a powerful reminder that with the right guidance, determination, and preparation, engineers too can dream big and achieve beyond conventional career paths.

Orientation Session Overview

The Orientation Session of E-Cell IGDTUW was held on 28th August, marking the beginning of an exciting new tenure of entrepreneurial activities on campus. With 100+ enthusiastic attendees, the event provided students with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture of innovation, leadership, and collaboration that E-Cell stands for. The session aimed to familiarize students with the Cell’s vision, showcase the opportunities available, and inspire them to step into the world of entrepreneurship.

Highlights

• The session opened with the introduction of the core team and leads, allowing students to get to know the people driving initiatives throughout the tenure.
• A comprehensive introduction to the various functional teams was conducted, including:

  Each team’s responsibilities were highlighted, from building digital platforms and designing creatives to managing sponsorships, curating content, driving research, handling events, and promoting E-Cell initiatives.
• The official merchandise for the tenure was unveiled, creating excitement and a sense of belonging among participants.
• An interactive quiz on guestimates was conducted, encouraging logical thinking, collaboration, and lively participation.
• The event concluded with a Q&A session, where attendees clarified doubts about E-Cell’s functioning, the recruitment process, and ways to contribute.
• The recruitment form rollout opened the doors for new members to join and actively participate in upcoming projects and initiatives.

✨ The Orientation concluded on a high note, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity. It set the perfect tone for a tenure dedicated to innovation, teamwork, and impactful initiatives, while laying the foundation for a stronger and more vibrant entrepreneurial community at IGDTUW.

GATE Preparation Workshop

Our esteemed speaker, Mr. Gunjan Chowdhary, guided the students through a comprehensive journey of exam preparation. He discussed not only proven techniques and preparation strategies, but also the deeper mindset required to stay consistent during the long months of practice. From time management tips, effective study schedules, and subject prioritization, to handling exam stress and staying motivated, every crucial aspect was addressed with clarity. With his vast experience and insights, students walked away with a practical roadmap to approach competitive exams with confidence and discipline. 📚✨

AssetMantle IGDTUW, in collaboration with @ecell_igdtuw, proudly hosted an enlightening session on “Intro to Web3 and Career Scope” featuring the talented Mr. Sanket Agarwal. 🚀

Sanket, currently a Product Manager at Quillaudits, has been actively shaping the blockchain industry for the past 2 years. His extensive journey included hands-on contributions to projects with global leaders like Binance, Crypto.com, CoinDCX, and many more. But what truly makes him special is his passion for teaching — having trained 10,000+ students across 40+ of India’s premiere institutions, he has inspired countless young minds to step confidently into the Web3 revolution. ✨

During this interactive and engaging session, attendees got an insider’s look at what Web3 really is, how it is different from Web2, the immense career opportunities it brings, and how students can start their journey today. From blockchain basics and smart contracts, to decentralized applications and career pathways, Sanket broke down complex concepts into simple, actionable insights. 💡

At E-Cell IGDTUW, we proudly showcased the innovative startups incubated by the Anveshan Foundation. Among these promising ventures, one initiative stood out for its unique approach to tackling one of the most important challenges of our time — mental health and career well-being. 💡✨

The event titled “Break the Bars” introduced students to Hope: helping in every step, a modern platform that was committed to breaking the stigma around mental health in India. With a dedicated team of 60 expert psychologists, Hope empowered students and professionals alike to achieve their full potential, balance their mental well-being, and reach their career goals. 🌿

What made Hope revolutionary was its accessibility and inclusivity. With the vision of making mental health care and career development both affordable and approachable, Hope provided:
